Science Camp Reminders
STUDENT DROP OFF Luggage pickup is 7:30-7:45 on Monday, 2/13.
Students will come to school with 3 items. 1. A backpack with a water bottle, a lunch, and wearing or bringing a sweatshirt (backpack stays with the student, do not put on the luggage truck!) 2. A bag or suitcase containing only the items listed on the packing list (goes on the truck) 3. A bag with their pillow and bedding/sleeping bag (goes on the truck)
Each of these 3 items needs to be labeled with their first and last name, school. The label can be as simple as a piece of duct tape with the information written in marker. Once student luggage and bedding is on the truck, students will line up as usual with their backpack. We will depart from school around 8:45. STUDENT PICK UPWe will return to school on Friday, 2/17, as close to 11:30 as possible. Students will need to be picked up and signed out by an adult listed on their emergency contact card. If someone other than yourself is picking up your student, please make sure they are listed on the emergency contact card.
Please, please be punctual, seeing as the teachers can't go home until all students are picked up by an authorized adult. Many thanks! LETTERS / CONTACTStudents love getting letters from home. There are a few ways to do this. You can mail letters to camp directly, or you can give me the letters by this Friday. Either way, I will make sure mail reaches your student. If mailing items, I would recommend sending this week. The camp will hold the letters for us until we get there. Please don't send any food items.
I will be updating SeeSaw as often as I can. Remember, no news is good news! Don't worry, if your child needs you, I'll be in contact.
